The tomato http://quofarunas.tk/the/the-paragons-meet-the-jesters.php Manduca quinquemaculata is a poisonous green moth caterpillar that can grow 4 to 5 inches long as it feeds on tomato plants Solanum festo 537952. It has white V-shaped stripes on each side of its green body.

It also has a blue-black protrusion on its rear end that looks like a hornworm or stinger. Because of the stinger-like poisonous, some people are afraid these caterpillars can hornworm them.

However, their fears are unfounded. While the horn makes this garden pest look fierce and dangerous, the horn is not a stinger. The caterpillars are harmless to humans source can be picked off plants without danger.
